We collect data when you make a travel enquiry/booking whether this is offline or online, and when business travel customers open account facilities.
We collect numerous pieces of information, which can be dependent on your enquiry/booking. This information can include your name, contact details (telephone, email and address), passport information, travel preferences, dietary requirements, details of disabilities and medical conditions (particularly for insurance purposes). This information is for the purpose of providing travel options, quotes and bookings (lawful basis = contract). In the case of sensitive personal data we will seek your explicit consent (lawful basis = consent) and ask you to sign a consent form.
The legal basis for processing data is contract for general travel requirements, consent for sensitive data (medical), and legitimate interest for keeping our customers and potential customers informed of travel matters.
The personal data we collect could be shared with airlines, hotels and hotel bed banks, tour operators, ferry companies, ancillary and attraction ticket providers, insurance companies and authorities providing travel authorisations. It could also be shared with Campaign Monitor and Advantage Travel Centres for the purpose of keeping you up to date with travel news, updates, offers and general information. For business travel customers data can be shared with your company in terms of travel reports.

All subject access requests should be made in writing and sent to the Mark Firth, email@example.com or post to Travelwise Group Ltd, Wakefield Road, Ossett West Yorkshire WF5 9AJ. There is not normally any charge for a subject access request however Travelwise reserve the right to apply a charge should your requests be unfounded or excessive.
We will respond to your subject access request within one month of receiving it. Normally, we aim to provide a complete response, including a copy of your personal data within that time. In some cases, however, particularly if your request is more complex, more time may be required up to a maximum of three months from the date we receive your request. You will be kept fully informed of our progress.
